Income Taxes and Short Memories
2008 Campaign BaloneyCharley Rangel "forgot" about the income on his off-shore rental properties and thus forgot to report the income to the IRS. Tim Geithner also "forgot" about some income and failed to pay $34,000 in income taxes and was exempted by the IRS for penalties and interest. Tom Daschle "suddenly remembered" that he had not reported income nor pay taxes amounting to $134,000 to the IRS and was also exempted from penalties and interest by the IRS. I seriously doubt that Mr. Rangel will have to pay any penalties or interest for his short-term yet convenient memory loss about his off-shore properties either. And apparently several other appointments by Obama have had second thoughts about the accuracy of the 1040 Forms and have elected to stay out of the limelight and away from the Senate Sub-Committee to answer confirmation questions about their taxes, nannies, and grounds-keepers.
Gee Whiz and Golly - these BOZOS are supposed to be the great thinkers in our wonderful society and one is even in charge of the Treasury. I hope someone has an extra key for Geithner in the event he can't find the key to his office to oversee trillions of dollars. I wonder if this is the "Change" that we can believe in. And the answer is "So far so good!"
It appears that the late Leona Helmsley (widow of the hotel magnate) was very correct when she said, "Only little people pay taxes!"

These figures mean that the loss from the two latest conflicts in the Middle East are LESS than the loss of military personnel during Bill Clinton's presidency; when America wasn't even involved in a war!

These figures indicate that many members of our alleged elite Media and our elitist Politicians will pick and choose the information on which they report.
Of course, we all know that they present only those ‘facts’ that support their agenda-driven reporting. Nevertheless, why do so many of them march in lock step to twist the truth? Where do so many of them get their marching orders for their agenda?
Obviously, there is one shared agenda, and I believe it is clear it comes from the most powerful Democratic family of the decade.
Do you want further proof? Consider the latest census of Americans. It shows the following FACTS about the distribution of American citizens, by RACE/COLOR:

Now... here are the fatalities by RACE/COLOR over the past three years in Iraqi Freedom:

Surprised again? Seems clear that the point is our mainstream elite media continues to spin these figures because of their political stance and their political agenda (who said anything about NEWS? – NEWS has nothing to do with what they say or read from the prompter). Nothing!
It's ALL about politics and some politicians, who are now famous for turning American against American for a vote. (Consider Slick Willy and his comments just recently made about South Carolina, Jesse Jackson, and the 'blacks' voting for the 'black' candidates); or Hillary's stump speech after her Super Tuesday 'victory' stating that the current administration does not 'listen' to anyone and continues the war costing precious American lives.
I hope that during the time between now and November, that intelligent Americans can decipher the facts from the spin and the spinners from the leaders; those who seek even more power from those that seek justice, the dividers from the uniters.
Over the next months let’s carefully listen, ask the candidates to DEFINE THEIR TERMS, see, and hear who tries to divide or Change our nation; and who really wants to unite our nation.
