Chattering Chuckee Schumer

A new class of Americans?

Dear Senator Schumer:

So we common, average, working, middle-class, ordinary Americans have now been classified into another group called the chattering class that you say do not really care about a little pork here or a little pork there.I remember what the late Senator Edward Everett Dirksen said some 38-years ago about pork projects and government spending, A billion dollars here and a billion dollars there and pretty soon youre talking about real money.  I believe that is where we are today notwithstanding the fact that you define it as only a little pork.Have you lost touch with reality or are you suffering from some traumatic form of brain damage?

Einstein was correct about his Theory of Relativity.A billion dollars 30 years ago is relatively small compared to the hundreds of billions of dollars that we are throwing into the sewage system of government waste and bloated payrolls and overblown feckless government bureaucracies.Perhaps the real amount will total in the trillions of dollars.

Probably a better description of this new "Chattering Class" of 'average Americans that don't really care about how much Congress is spending' and as coined by pompous New York Senator, Chuckee Schumer, is OUR right of Free Speech guaranteed by the First Amendment to the Constitution (until some moron decides that that phrase is not what the Founding Fathers had intended).  So, let's keep on "Chattering" while we can.  Sounds like Chuckee is trying to start a class warfare.

As a newly initiated member of the now so-called Chattering Class, I do have to advise you and your sniveling sycophants in Congress that I now call you the schmucks and putz of the Legislative Branch.I suppose that would be a Sub-Branch of the three branches of government.

I would like to vote against you but I live in Oklahoma and would never consider moving to New York State even though I have two daughters that live there in your Empire State. They say that you are as big an idiot in person as you appear to be on television.

Good night and good luck!

Income Taxes and Short Memories

2008 Campaign Baloney

Charley Rangel "forgot" about the income on his off-shore rental properties and thus forgot to report the income to the IRS.  Tim Geithner also "forgot" about some income and failed to pay $34,000 in income taxes and was exempted by the IRS for penalties and interest.  Tom Daschle "suddenly remembered" that he had not reported income nor pay taxes amounting to $134,000 to the IRS and was also exempted from penalties and interest by the IRS.  I seriously doubt that Mr. Rangel will have to pay any penalties or interest for his short-term yet convenient memory loss about his off-shore properties either.  And apparently several other appointments by Obama have had second thoughts about the accuracy of the 1040 Forms and have elected to stay out of the limelight and away from the Senate Sub-Committee to answer confirmation questions about their taxes, nannies, and grounds-keepers.

Gee Whiz and Golly - these BOZOS are supposed to be the great thinkers in our wonderful society and one is even in charge of the Treasury.  I hope someone has an extra key for Geithner in the event he can't find the key to his office to oversee trillions of dollars.  I wonder if this is the "Change" that we can believe in.  And the answer is "So far so good!"

It appears that the late Leona Helmsley (widow of the hotel magnate) was very correct when she said, "Only little people pay taxes!"

Gasoline Usage Reduction Theory

Gasoline Usage Reduction

Boraxobama says:  Over-inflating your tires will reduce gasoline consumption.  So, I am going to add four more tires to my car and instead of 35 psi, I am going to put 70 psi of air in all eight tires.  So instead of the 28 mpg (highway) that I now get, I should be getting 112 mpg (highway) - an increase of four times the mileage.  Sounds to me like an energy plan whose time has come.  So what school and discipline did Boraxoabama attend and study when he went to college?  It wasn't M.I.T. was it or Mechanical Engineering?

Maybe we need more "BigFoots" on the highway . . . WOW - where do these great energy-saving ideas come from?  It's like magic or something . . . . (perhaps it was pulled from a body orifice) - and why were we not told about this years ago?  Was this all part of a vast right-wing oil company-funded conspiracy?  Makes you wonder don't it  . . .

Boraxo also wants Universal Health Care for everybody in the U.S. (legally or not - and regardless of the cost).  But did you know that you are three to four times safer on the highway going 75 mph with cars and 18-wheelers only a few feet from you than you are in a hospital lying in a bed going "0" mph?

Oh, by the way, I accidentally broke a fluorescent (CFL) bulb in my bathroom while trying to screw the damned thing in the socket.  Which government agency(s) do I notify and which forms will I need to prepare in order to be in compliance with those federal standards?  I was able to clean up the toxic spill with my bare hands and without the required federally approved air regulator and asbestos space suit but then I used to play with Mercury and Lead when I was a kid.  The Mercury made for really shiny dimes and quarters back then.  How the hell did any of us ever survive childhood without all this government "assistance?"

Because of the accidental dropping of the CFL light bulb, we have already evacuated the house and are living in a tent outside even though neighborhood covenants do not allow for this type of lifestyle.  We have told the neighborhood association to take up the issue with the federal government and their elected officials since they make up all the rules.  No word yet from the neighborhood association.  They meet next year.

P. T. Barnum missed this group . . .

Congress and a Special Session
Why not recall the lazy bastards into session until they can come up with an energy policy that has gone unplanned and unattended to since the first ARAB oil embargo of 1973 - let's see by my basic arithmetic, that is only 35 years of sitting on our hands and letting third world countries dictate economic policies to us.  What a country, and what a group of clowns - its more comedy than a three-ring circus and more comedy than we can tolerate, physically and economically.  P.T. Barnum, where are you when we need you?

Oregon' New Death Row / Health Care System

New Death Row for sick people

Sounds as if Oregon has their own version of Death Row.  If you have a 5% survival chance with less than a five-year "estimated" life expectancy (by a physician "practicing" medicine -the operative word here is PRACTICING), then the state expects you to call Dr. Kevorkian for an "assist" into the next life.  Your medical care will cost the state too much, but they will build a bridge to nowhere, or fund studies to determine why tricycles tip over, or send 10,000 mobile homes to Arkansas for Louisiana hurricane victims, etc., etc., etc., etc.  Where does it end?

Convicted murderers on Death Row have a better survival chance even in Texas and their upkeep has to cost much more than chemotherapy.

What is this country becoming?  Apparently the lawmakers feel that life is just not worth the fight even if they are not involved in the fight.  Sounds too much like Nazi Germany during the 1930's and early 1940's.  Perhaps this "wind" will blow their (lawmakers) way, or have they exempted themselves from this law?

I look forward to hearing from you in the future.

Sincerely,

Five to ten years to get energy on line - my ass!

Energy Availability
I was involved in several oil wells in Muskogee County, Oklahoma in 1983.  Two of the wells were production quality and
economically feasible.  From "spud-in" time to the completion of the wells was
approximately 4 weeks.  These wells were shallow - around 2,500 feet.  We were
selling oil to the transportation company within two weeks as the tank batteries
filled with oil.  This oil went immediately to refineries and was processed into
various oil by-products.  Where do these non-experienced "oil" experts that are
elected to Congress get their information that it will take five to ten years to
get on line with oil?  What a bunch of un-informed loons do we have running this
country (into the ground).  Pelosi and Reid are at the top of the list of "You
can't fix stupid!"

Drilling an oilwell is a risky and expensive game.  Not all drilled sites produce oil.  So you will have drilling costs and
no income from these.  The oil business is not for the faint of heart nor
political hacks.  If they think that is not risky enough, then they should go
down to their local Social Security Office or the Post Office (unannounced) and
see how little productivity there is behind the desks of their feckless
"workers."
